THE WIZARD'S SPELL BOOK
Level 1 Spells
--------------
SPELL NAME PURPOSE ACTION
% MORAK Healing The MORAK spell can be used to heal most
superficial wounds and injuries. This
spell can restore from 0 to 10 hit points,
depending on the strength and condition
of the spell caster. This spell can be
cast at any time.
% PRECHAR Shielding The PRECHAR spell is used to shield the
adventurer from danger. This spell is
best when used during battle, since it's
duration can be short. This spell may
have little effect against stronger
attackers.
* CZSHCAR Fireball The CZSHCAR spell when cast hurls a
small fireball at an attacker causing 1
to 15 damage points. This spell is most
effective against lower level attackers.
This spell can be cast only during battle.
* XEMIAAK Blizzard The XEMIAAK spell when cast fires a
Blast small arctic blast at an attacker
causing 1 to 12 damage points.This spell
is most effective against lower level
attackers. This spell can be cast only
during battle.
Level 2 Spells
--------------
* WILDRAEN Strength The WILDRAEN spell increases the strength
of the caster during battle, thereby
increasing the damage of successful
attacks. This spell must be cast only
during battle however, as unpredictable
results may occur otherwise.
* DIMORAK Strong The DIMORAK spell is a more powerful MORAK,
Healing and can usually restore from 10 to 25 hit
points, depending on the strength and
condition of the spell caster. This spell
also cures poison.
% DIPRECHAR Big Shield The DIPRECHAR is a more powerful PRECHAR,
and provides more protection for an
adventurer during battle. This more
powerful spell may be cast before, during,
or after a battle. The effect of this spell
is usually much longer than that of the
PRECHAR.
* DICZSHCAR Large The DICZSHCAR spell hurls a large fireball
Fireball at an attacker, causing 16 to 30 damage
points.
* DIXEMIAAK Large The DIXEMIAAK spell is a more powerful
Blizzard XEMIAAK spell, firing a large blizzard
Blast at an attacker, causing from 15 to 35
damage points.
Level 3 Spells

Level 4 Spells
--------------
* OYAMMIK Fire Storm The OYAMMIK spell causes a large fire storm
to hit the attakers. This is a very
powerful spell, which usually causes from
20 to 50 damage points.
* ZEEPAR Heat Wave The ZEEPAR spell causes a high intensity
thermal heat wave to be hurled towards the
attackers. This spell is, of course, more
powerful against creatures or fighters from
the Ice Regions. It may not be as effective
againsr Creatures of Hades. Usually, it
will cause from 25 - 55 damage points.
* MALOR Transport The MALOR spell is a 'last resort' spell
and should only be used if there are no
other options. This spell transports
the caster back to the stairs to the
Palace, or even into the Palace itself,
depending on the strength of the caster.
The spell has a 45% failure rate.
Level 5 Spells
--------------
* MAHAMAN Fission The MAHAMAN spell causes a very large and
powerful fission explosion causing 75 to
150 damage points to an attacker. The
caster is shielded from the effect of the
blast.
* DIMAHAMAN Multiple The DIMAHAMAN spell is a very powerful
Fission and dangerous spell. It can cause from 200
Reaction to 400 damage points to an attacker, but
the results are very unpredictable and
usually very dangerous. Casting this spell
also drains the caster of one level. This
spell can be cast only once.
